This weekend, November 5th and 6th 2011 in Danville, Kentucky BourbonBlog.com invites you to the sounds and smells of the 1st Annual Kentucky BBQ Festival, benefiting Heart of Kentucky United Way! Mystical blue smoke will fill the air and Pulled Pork Shoulder, Texas Beef Brisket, Whole Hog and more will fill your soul.
The big names of BBQ will be sharing their talent and cooking for us… like Ray Lampe, “Dr. BBQ,” known as the expert judge/host on CBS Sports “Ultimate BBQ Showdown AND Food Network’s “Tailgate Warriors with Guy Fieri.
Cooking demonstrations Tim Farmer of Kentucky Afield on smoking wild turkeys, deer and game and the Big Green Egg Experts from WeldQuip.
Other pitmasters appearing at the festival include Moe Cason, Melissa Cookston, Shelly Hunt, Carey Bringle, Craig Kimmel.
