The ImbibleListen to the podcast above as BourbonBlog.com‘s Tom Fischer talks with host and producer of Art of the Drink Anthony Caporale about his new one-person show showcasing the history of drinking, cocktails and alcohol called The Imbible.

The Imbible is a first-of-its-kind production written by Caporale about the evolution of drinking based his sold-out presentations, lectures, and classes at venues such as Talks at Google, The Manhattan Cocktail Classic, and The Institute of Culinary Education. During the production, Caporale will also be joined onstage by a barbershop quartet.

Premiering this August 2014 at The New York International Fringe Festival, the specific dates of The Imbible will be coming soon.

In The Imbible, Caporale combines his passions as a bartender, educator and actor as he also gives live demonstrations of brewing beer and distilling spirits and guides the audience through cocktail tastings.

“If you don’t think I’m funny, you can drink me funny,” laughs Caporale as he talks about the show.
