Tales of the Cocktail Foundation tells BourbonBlog.com that they will be postponing their annual conference, Tales of the Cocktail, and Spirited Awards announcements and programming until September 2020.

The conference will remain fully digital and will run from Monday, September 21 through Thursday, September 24.

For over a decade, BourbonBlog.com has brought you coverage of Tales with stories and the videos below from a range of years. The original date for 2020 was set to be July 21-25, 2020 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Tales of the Cocktail tells us:

While we all continue to navigate the challenges presented to our industry during this global pandemic, we are also aware of the unique circumstances impacting the communities we serve.

As some bars in the United States (and around the world) begin to reopen in what historically is known as a slow season, we understand the increased challenges that travel restrictions and limited capacity pose on our entire industry. For more than 15 years, New Orleans has been a destination for our extended family, but this year our beloved city will feel distant too. We are taking the time to plan, so we can bring all of our communities closer.
