The Owensboro Bourbon Society (OBS) is organizing this Owesnboro Bourbon and Jazz Festival. Vince Carida founded the OBS in March of 2011.
In its first year membership has increased from 15 members to over 70 members. The Owensboro Bourbon Society was established to celebrate the history of bourbon in the state of Kentucky, and specifically, the city of Owensboro, as well as educate people on the scientific and artistic elements of making bourbon.

Friday
5 to 7 pm: Kick off the Festival at Friday After 5, located downtown on the Ohio River Front !
VIP ticket holders will be treated to a special cocktail lounge with special bourbons, appetizers and ash bar. Barbara Santora and her band “Jazzin” will perform in the courtyard of the Riverpark Center 7 to 10 pm.
10:00 – 12 pm: The Party cotinues with Western Kentucky’s only Bourbon Bar, Spirits, located at the Miller House Restaurant, 301 East 5th Street. Listen to jazz adn enjoy over 100 Bourbons.

Saturday
11 am to 12:30 “Four Roses in the Rose Garden” at the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden, 25 Carter Road. Four Roses Bourbon and BBQ Sliders.
Cost: $20 per person, $18 for CIP ticket olders. Only open to only 75 bourbon & BBQ Lovers
1 to 2:30 Beautiful Miller House, 301 East 5ht Street. Bourbon and food Pairing with Jim Beam Small Batch Colleciton of Knob Creeek, Baker’s Booker’s and Basil Hayden’s .
Cost: $27 VIP or $30 per person.
3 to 5 pm Bourbon Barrel Beer Tasting – at Gambrinus Libation Emporium downtown Owensboro 116 East Second Street. Enjoy Give bourbon barrel beers served in a fligth. Cost $25 or 22.50 for VIP
Dinner / Gala 6 to 10 pm. “Bourbon and Jazz Gala” on 2nd floor of Museum of Science and History 122 East 2nd Street. Cash bar and Miller Hour’s Chef Kasey prepare a dinner focusing on bourbon and a few other suprises. Silent auction and Charlene Blay and the 2ndition band. Dress up and wearing your “dancing shoes.”

Gala Dinner Menu
Salad: KY Bibb Lettuce with Fresh Herbs and Red Wine Vinaigrettte, Flat Bread Crackers and Butter.
Duet Entree: Bourbon Marinade Grilled Shrimp and Grilled Sirlion with Bourbon Butter Served over stone ground cheddar grits and grilled beefsteak tomato and sauteed haricot verts.
Dessert: Chocolate Bourbon Cake
