Recently, BourbonBlog.com‘s Tom Fischer had a small role in the forthcoming film Back in the Day, directed and written by actor Michael Rosenbaum (Lex Luthor in the 10 seasons of Smallville) and produced by Kim Waltrip.
The film also stars Morena Baccarin, Michael Rosenbaum, Nick Swardson, Harland Williams, Jay R. Ferguson, Isaiah Mustafa, Kristoffer Polaha and others.
At least a few of those actors above enjoyed some Bourbon tastings after filming each night with Tom. .
Tom catches up with Kim Waltrip (who also happens to be a Bourbon fan). Waltrip also just produced Hit and Run starring Kristen Bell, Tom Arnold, Bax Shepard, and Bradley Cooper.

In the movie, Rosenbaum plays the role of Jim Owens, an actor who returns to his hometown of Indiana for a class reunion. The movie was based in filmed in the Evansville, Indiana area where Rosenbaum actually grew up.
Kim tells us the feedback has been positive with audiences who have screened early versions of Back in the Day (formerly titled Old Days). She says they love the characters, the chemistry, and the heart and sincerity of this often humorous, “feel good movie.”
Kim has been up to a lot lately and is working on many unique and exciting films and she also gives us a peak at other films she is working on including A Thousand Cuts, and I Didn’t Come Here to Die.
We will keep you updated on all the films mentioned here on BourbonBlog.com…be watching for another interview coming soon!
Many thanks to Kim, Michael and all of our friends on the cast and crew of Old Days who shared some Bourbon and made it a blast!
