What is Licor 43? Watch the video above as 43 may be one of the best kept secrets among bartenders.
We join Licor 43 at Tales of the Cocktail for their Pura Pasion event tasting the exotic elixir in classics like margaritas and caipirinhas, and a few new creations (check out the recipes below).
BourbonBlog.com discovers the pure passion of this Spanish liqueur which is made from a recipe of secret Mediterranean ingredients dating back to the Roman Empire.
In fact, every ingredient in Licor 43 is sourced in one region of Spain except for the vanilla.
One of the best parts of this Tales event is that Licor 43 gives guests the chance to get behind the bar at Criollo to invent their own Licor 43 cocktails.
BourbonBlog.com‘s Tom Fischer mixes up a cocktail with Bourbon and Licor 43 and speaks with bartenders who are also creating new drinks from a table full of spirits, mixers and bitters.
The chance to get creative coupled with the tapas and the cochinillo (Spanish roast suckling pig) make this one of the highlights of our Tales of the Cocktail experience.
Featured in the interview is Jerry Knight, Director of Marketing, Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits; Myrna Mayor, US Manager, The Zamora Americas; and Stinson Parks, Associates Brand Manager of Spirits, Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits!
