BourbonBlog.com to continue to follow the story of the tragic fire on Friday that burned Silver Trail Distillery to the ground seriously injuring cousins Second Distiller Jay Rogers and Assistant Distiller Kyle Rogers.
This update today, Sunday, April 25, comes from Necey Sham, Master Distiller at Glenns Creek Distillery in Versailes by way of Kyle Rogers’ Mom:
“The surgeon feels that Kyle is stable enough to remove some of the severe burns on his arm and legs. He thinks it will be around 2 today.
Jay is also doing better. He feels Jay’s burns may not be as deep and if he continues to remain stable they will try to remove his breathing tube tomorrow and will start removing his burns Tuesday.”
