Frey Ranch Distillery tells BourbonBlog.com they have added a new permanent offering to its repertoire: Frey Ranch Farm Strength Uncut Bourbon.
Available in Nevada, California, and online at freyranch.com, this cask-strength, non-chill-filtered whiskey is at 124.3 proof and aged for average of five years with a price of $79.99 for a 750 ml bottle.
The distillery plans to expand availability to Arizona, Ohio, and Georgia in 2023.
“Every time we blend a batch of our flagship Frey Ranch Four Grain Straight Bourbon, we taste it at cask strength before we proof it down.” Co-Founder and Whiskey Farmer Colby Frey tells us. “That uncut liquid is always a big hit with our distillery team. We’re excited to now offer the Farm Strength version of the signature whiskey that put Frey Ranch on the map with our grain-forward approach.”
The Flavor Profile of Frey Ranch Farm Strength Uncut Bourbon
Frey Ranch Farm Strength Uncut Bourbon offers a different tasting experience from its 90-proof counterpart.
Its robust flavor contains notes of caramelized brulé, cinnamon, nutmeg, and subtle hints of smoke and black cherry. The whiskey unfolds a fusion of flavors including birthday cake frosting, glazed butter cake, cloves, orange creamsicle, and dried stone fruit.
