Macanudo tells BourbonBlog.com that their the second release in the Macanudo Emissary lineup will be Macanudo Emissary France showcasing rare and refined French tobacco grown in the Mugron River Valley, nestled between Bordeaux and the Spanish border.
Nurtured by the Atlantic sea breeze and the region’s rich terroir, this tobacco is said develops distinct notes of salt and dark berries.

Emissary France is masterfully blended with an impeccable selection of tobaccos from five countries, each leaf aged between 4 and 10 years. The result is a cigar as unique and refined as its composition.
Emissary France is a folllow up to the 2024 release Macanudo Emissary España featuring a Havana seed tobacco grown near Riolobos, Spain.
Macanudo says that creating cigars of this caliber requires a meticulous balance of rare tobaccos and expert craftsmanship.
Handcrafted at HATSA, Macanudo Emissary France is a full-time release available in four vitolas including: Robusto, Perfecto, Toro and Churchill ranging in price from $14.99 to $17.99 (all details below). Emissary France will begin shipping to stores March 3, 2025.
