ROOM101’s Special Limited-Edition Cigar and a Humidor to Celebrate Its 15th Anniversary

Johnny Tobacconaut Cigar:

Room101 tells BourbonBlog.com that they are unvieling two new additions to their lineup. First, the new smoke, Johnny Tobacconaut 10th Anniversary, celebrates this stellar blend’s ten years of sporadically delighting cigar lovers.

The new cigar — a Nicaraguan Puro — boasts rich tobacco designed and built by Matt Booth, Room101 Creative Director, and AJ Fernandez. This limited-edition blend is a full-bodied expression that stands in contrast to the most recent 2023 Johnny Tobacconaut full-time blend, which featured a Connecticut shade wrapper.

While Johnny Tobacconaut Cigars first appeared in 2015, the line has returned over time in varying capacities (2021 and 2023) with different blends. Johnny Tobacconaut 10th Anniversary is being produced in limited quantities at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. Johnny Tobacconaut is classed as an Unobtanium sub-brand of Room101 Cigars.

“I’m beyond excited to celebrate the tenth year of the Johnny Tobacconaut brand. It’s ten years in space for Room101 and it tastes incontestably delicious,” said Booth. “I’m looking forward to the next ten years and beyond of galactic disruption.”

Johnny Tobacconaut 10th Anniversary will be available in a single size — a 6” X 52 Toro. Boxes will contain 20 cigars.

This release will be featured at PCA, but a ship date is currently unavailable due to the recent fire at AJ Fernandez’s factory.  An exact ship date is yet to be known.

The Humidor Cigars:

Room101 Cigars is following up the release of its much-anticipated 15th Anniversary Cigar with a limited-edition Anniversary Humidor.

The Humidor, which will be available in burgundy, teal, and black, features a selection of cigars from every limited-edition Room101 Anniversary release to date (Room101 Anniversary 10th — 15th).

Cigars included in the Room101 Anniversary Humidor:

• Room101 10th Anniversary (6” X 52 Toro and 7” X 38 Culebra)

• Room101 11th Anniversary (6” X 52 Toro and 7” X 38 Culebra)

• Room101 12th Anniversary (6” X 52 Toro and 7” X 38 Culebra)

• Room101 13th Anniversary (6” X 52 Toro and 7” X 38 Culebra)

• Room101 14th Anniversary (6” X 52 Toro and 7” X 38 Culebra)

• Room101 15th Anniversary (6” X 52 Toro and 7” X 38 Culebra)

The humidor includes 126 cigars (21 from each release), including six special Culebra versions of each of the previous six Room101 Anniversary releases. These Culebras are only available in this humidor. The rest of the cigars are Toros. All are Nicaraguan Puros and made by AJ Fernandez with the exception of the 11^th Anniversary, which is made by Oliva.
