TAG Global Spirit Awards

With the final entry deadline fast approaching on August 1, the TAG Global Spirits Awards remains one of the most prestigious spirits competitions in the world. Co-founded in 2020 by legendary mixologist Tony Abou‑Ganim, alongside David Grapshi and Julio Bermejo, this global contest is designed to spotlight excellence across over 100 spirits categories.

Returning to Las Vegas from September 1–5, the 2025 competition gathers top spirits professionals and judges from around the globe to evaluate entries across more than 100 categories, from whiskey and tequila to RTDs and liqueurs.

Key Dates For Entry and Judging

  • Final Entry Deadline: August 1, 2025

  • Event & Judging: September 1–5, 2025 — W Hotel, Las Vegas

Why Enter?

TAG offers global credibility, with judging led by elite bartenders, distillers, and spirits educators who blind-taste each product with precision.

A TAG medal carries weight—it’s not just a trophy, but a mark of excellence that enhances visibility, builds buyer confidence, and opens doors. Perhaps most valuable of all, entrants receive meaningful feedback on how their spirits perform not only on their own but in cocktails, where versatility truly matters.

In previous years, the TAG Global Spirits Awards has honored exceptional bottles across a wide spectrum—from bourbon and rye to tequila, rum, gin, and other standout spirits.

The competition continues to highlight both established names and rising craft producers. You can explore the full list of medalists from last year by visiting the 2024 TAG Awards Results
