The Bourbon Classic proves to continue to be Louisville’s Premiere Bourbon Event as event organizers tell Bourbonblog.com that attendance and participation from distilleries, bartenders and restaurants / establishments has grown every year!

The Bourbon Classic kicked off with an exclusive rare bourbon tasting reception at Copper & Kings American Brandy. In addition to a number of rare bourbons like W. L. Weller 12 and some spirits from Copper & Kings, Van Winkle Special Reserve e12 Year-Old along with Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 15-year-old and 20-year-old expressions were all poured with Julian and son Preston Van Winkle in attendance. Other highlights of Bourbon Classic 2015 included  Bourbon Classic Cocktail Challenge, Bourbon Classic University, and The Bourbon Masters General Session (top masters distillers from both inside and outside Kentucky discussed bourbon topics and answered questions from a large audience).

Preston Van WinkleThe Bourbon Classic ended on Saturday night at the Kentucky Center for The Performing Arts with The Ultimate Bourbon Experience, which featured a premium bourbon and whiskey tasting and cuisine prepared by Shawn Ward of Ward 426 Coby Ming of Harvest, Ouita Michel of Holly Hill Inn and Levon Wallace, Proof on Main.
