It was named after the soldiers and refugees who were forced to set sail for other lands during times of hardship in Ireland. These people, known as “The Wild Geese”, are honored for their bravery and courageous spirit that they experienced through oppression and famine.

The Wild Geese Irish Soldiers & Heroes Limited Edition Fourth Centennial Review
Whiskey: The Wild Geese Irish Soldiers & Heroes Limited Edition Fourth Centennial
Age: No age statement, a “unique blend of Irish Whiskeys”
Proof: 86 Proof, 43% ABV
Color: Golden Straw
Nose: Light smokey malt, yet creamy with hints of fruit and vanilla
Taste: Enters with soft mouthfeel. Mild vanilla with the overwhelming flavor being reminiscent of fresh Amaretti cookies I’ve had in Italy. The whiskey coats the mouth with a lovely balance of sweetness and delicious spicey malts
Finish: Vanilla ice cream dripped with honey
