Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky first experimental whiskey for 2020, a 12 Yeard Old Wheated Bourbon Whiskey. This wheat recipe bourbon aged for four years, cut with water, then re-barreled and left to age for another eight years.

Famed winemaker Dave Phinney’s Savage and Cooke distillery on Mare Island, California they are completely shutting down whiskey production in this time of need to focus fully on the production of hand sanitizer. Just outside of Napa Valley and not far from San Fransisco, we recently visited the distillery in early 2020 before the COVID-19 crisis.
