As Bulleit’s official social brand pages have recently shared photos and liquor stores have started listing it for sale, we wanted to share what we know so far at BourbonBlog.com as we follow this developing story on the new Bulleit Bottled-in-Bond.
This marks the debut of Bulleit’s first-ever Bottled-in-Bond release. While the brand has yet to issue an official press release, multiple retailers have already listed it for sale, with prices ranging from $49.99 to $64.96.
Notably, Astor Wines & Spirits describes it as originating from the 2017 distillation season.
This aligns with the legal requirements of the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897, which mandates that any whiskey labeled Bottled in Bond must:
- Be distilled by a single distiller at a single distillery in a single season
- Be aged for a minimum of four years in a federally bonded warehouse
- Be bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV)
We will continue following this story and will provide updates as soon as Bulleit provides BourbonBlog.com with details.
