New Angel’s Envy Bourbon Finished in Oloroso Sherry Casks as part of their Cellar Collection. Based in Louisville, Kentucky this is their first whiskey release since 2013. Only 6 used sherry wine barrels were sourced from Jerez, Spain to yield this 3,600 bottles of this Bourbon whiskey.

The annual Woodford Reserve Bourbon Holiday Bottle has been released for 2018 with a Christmas season painting that captures a scene of the distillery in Versailles, Kentucky. Holiday events and dinners are also coming up at the distillery.
Old Charter Oak Bourbon is a new collection of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Buffalo Trace of Frankfort to explore and celebrate the role oak and barrels plays in making whiskey. The first release is called Mongolian Oak, aged in barrels made from trees grown in Mongolia.

Southern California, whiskey expert Tom Fischer returns to host several rare Bourbon and whiskey tatings in August in Los Angeles and Palm Springs. It is all part of the Why Whiskey educational series including Jefferson’s Presidential 16 Year Old Twin Oak and Peerless Rye Whiskey Single Limited Edition.
For this 10-year-old Jefferson’s Bourbon, the whiskey is finished in a custom barrel for 4 months. A new release as a result of a 6 year long project with
Basil Hayden’s Two by Two Rye is a new blend of two Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskeys and two Kentucky Straight rye whiskey. Launching this summer, this whiskey is a first of its kind release in the liquor industry.
